3D THz imaging system for material characterization

 

TPI™ imaga 1000, from TeraView, is the world’s first commercial terahertz (THz) imaging system for material characterization.

Based upon TeraView’s proprietary semiconductor-based, terahertz pulsed technology, and over 40 patented technologies and processes, TPI™ imaga 1000 yields complete 3D volumetric imaging of fibrous, powdered or densely packed materials, laminates, paints, adhesives and coatings.

TeraView’s TPI™ imaga 1000 supplies THz image analysis for physical and chemical characterization of materials. Layer thickness and depth profile enables product homogeneity and defect analysis to be performed directly on intact samples.
